About Dr. Emanuele
I graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine, following an undergraduate degree from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. During my internal medicine rotation in vet school, I came in on a rare day off to say goodbye to a long-term patient. We sat on a blanket near a field of Holstein cows, as the sun set and geese flew overhead on a cold December evening. I still think about the peace of that moment, and the deep sense of fulfillment that came from giving Major and his mom the goodbye they deserved.
After five years in busy, fast-paced clinical practice I found myself craving a slower pace and a deeper connection with my clients and patients. I'm so grateful for the incredible privilege of sharing these quiet moments with my clients in my most fulfilling work as a veterinarian yet.
When I'm not working, I enjoy baking, reading, and working to make my yard pollinator- and native plant-friendly. I share my life with my husband and our three wild and funny kids, as well as Maple the dog, Ruthie the cat, Lucy the bearded dragon, and Pixel the betta fish.
